Picking dandelions is even more fun!

Last night, the treat was watermelon...what do you think was the biggest hit of the evening?OhCaptainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09399011365659793142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5880191.post-16394933780638604162009-09-02T12:00:49.378-05:002009-09-02T12:00:49.378-05:00Those were the days. I miss watching little girls show up for t-ball wearing frilly skirts and without a glove while my tomboy-daughter indignantly complained to me that "You CAN'T play t-ball in a SKIRT!" I miss watching the outfielders pick dandelions and the highlight of the game being the treats that were served when the game was over.

Now it's about the pick-off and stealing bases and making it to State. Still fun, but I miss those innocent days.terrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12510457113017189354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5880191.post-87889826528252141992009-09-01T22:42:36.765-05:002009-09-01T22:42:36.765-05:00So many things have changed over the years. You wouldn't want a pregnant woman making the kids ask questions.OhCaptainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09399011365659793142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5880191.post-80804093899088368942009-09-01T21:45:55.097-05:002009-09-01T21:45:55.097-05:00No T-ball for me growing up. It was the stone age you know.
My girls never expressed an interest in T-ball when they were little. In fact, I don't know if T-ball was offered to little girls 18and 15 years ago.
Now softball, that's another story. Both played in grade school and loved it. Girls, when I were growing up, were included in softball games, but only if there was no crying, like in baseball.SurprisedMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11474705305996978532noreply@blogger.com
