I took this picture at the Quarry Hill Nature Center in Rochester, MN. It just seemed mean that the big turtles would just leave the little turtle alone.

Depending on the species big turtles eat little turtles. My friend has one that definitely would and so it has its own tank and the little ones are in another. The little turtle is a cutie.
I did not know that about the turtles. I just thought this one looked lonely and the other two were partying without him.
