It's melting
Temperatures were well above freezing today. There is a lake forming behind our house. We haven't seen it in weeks but that looks to be liquid water. Liquid water!
Be back later...there are Christmas decorations I need to take down before they freeze solid again!

SERIOUSLY!!! I CAN SEE GRASS!!!
I'm so excited. Spring will eventually arrive after all!
I refuse to get too excited. After all, you KNOW what happens every year during the state basketball tournaments.
Gosh, I'm just a barrel of sunshine, aren't I?
It's bliss. Even if it will be short-lived. I know winter isn't over. Darn season doesn't know when it isn't welcome anymore.
I have bulbs popping up in my back garden!
I didn't realize how funny you are! So glad you popped in today :)
Melisa - we have grass too! I'm beginning to believe this isn't just the start of an ice age.
terri - chin up! I know, the state basketball tourney is coming. I also know what that means, but if memory serves me, it's melted within days as well. It did bug me when we were in school. Big snow storm and we were not in school any ways.
Momo Fali - it is the rudest of all seasons. Fall and spring leave before I'm ready every year too.
Kat - we aren't quite ready for bulbs yet. This is Minnesota, according to the ground hog, we got a ways to go.
Mrs4444 - thank you very much. Thanks for inspiring me.
It was so wonderful! I took several pictures so I could cherish the good times that may never come again now that the ice age is back. So sad that most of the snow and ice had melted, only the tall piles hadn't completely melted, and now everything is covered again. Except my car and parking spot, I went OCD on both and cleaned them off good. A lady stealing a neighbor's spot asked if I were having fun, I told her no but I was not letting the snow win again! Say no to 2-3' snow walls between cars!
