Through the eye of my camera

I always have my phone with me when I go for my lunch time walk at work. The hill behind the hospital I work at is full of historic homes built by the ounding docs. It's affectionately known as 'Pill Hill'.

I walk past this home almost every day. It's no longer a residence but owned by the foundation that runs everything. It's Dr. William Mayo's last house. The foundation does an amazing job keeping it beautiful. Don't you think?

This is absolutely gorgeous. I would love to take my lunchtime among such historic places. Do they offer tours of these homes? I still can't believe you are taking these photos with your phone. Mine don't turn out like this. I really love seeing your photos.

Michelle: Yes, I took this with my 1st generation iPhone and thank you.

Kat: Thank you...you diva ;-)

Dawn: Awe schucks! Tanks!

Surprised Mom: Thank you very much for your kind words. Some of the homes have tours, on of the homes is now owned by the city and can used for wedding receptions and the like. Others are actually still in use as homes. Walking in this area is really quite beautiful. Makes for a nice break in the day. The camera on the iPhone isn't all that bad, the trick is keeping the lens clean. After that, point it and shoot.
