Hard to tell from here, but if it's a shrub, it's pry a hibiscus.

Just call them wildflowers. Then you don't really have to know the name.
On the purple flowers . . . ditto WeaselMomma, Kim and Terri. Sorry. It's still a pretty site where you work. Wish I could say the same. Wasn't it hard to get back to work today after all those days off? I felt like it was Monday all day long. Bummer.
They look like allium to me. :)

I have no idea what they're called. But they're lovely. Looks like the building has some nice landscaping.
